As part of my efforts to update all my social media sites, I have set up two Facebook Fan Pages. While both pages are public (as opposed to my personal “Profile” page), one Fan Page is dedicated to my own work as an author and artist, while the other is dedicated to my company’s publishing business.
I’ll be honest with you – setting up a fan page is a pain in the tuckus. It takes time – time I would rather spend writing and painting. Yet, Facebook is the most visited site in the world and it is a remarkable promotion tool for authors and artists. And, it’s free. You can’t beat free. ![]()
In setting up my fan pages, I came across one irritating problem – how to size the many different photos. A quick Google search offered a plethora of advice, but the best, imho, comes from the talented graphic design expert, Louise Meyers. While this page explains the different sizes, I especially appreciated the infographic she put up on her site – and which she has allowed me to share with you. I hope you get as much use out of this wonderful tool as I have!

Thank you Kaete, for sharing my infographic!

Dear Louise:
Actually, thank YOU! That was so well done and answered, at a glance, a lot of the design questions I was scrounging around trying to find answers for.
BTW, I love your site. Fun, playful & informative.
Best regards,
Katherine
